Fix It Up BURGESS

​I am Nathan Burgess. I have been landscaping for more than 10 years and have been helping family, friends, and business associates with home projects my whole life. I am a natural when it comes to fixing things and I really enjoy helping people. I love to arrive at someone's home after a storm, or for the first time in spring, and make their home beautiful again. I really enjoy changing things around for people. I have an eye for design and know how to make your yard and home look good. When I finish a project, the most common compliment I am given is that I am an artist.

I recently earned my 2 year Associate of Science-Transfer degree in Civil Engineering from Bellingham Technical College. I am planning to use this business to support my family and pay for my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the Washington Engineering Institute. My wife Catherine and I were married in 2015 and we had our daughter Emily in 2016. 

 

I spent 3 years in Olympia running a small landscaping business. I worked with a cleaning company who cleaned out foreclosed houses. We took away lots of trash, fixed just about everything in all kinds of houses, and I maintained the yards until they sold.

I have really enjoyed climbing mountains with my Uncle from Seattle. We have made the summit of Mount Adams once, and Mount Baker three times. I took the picture in the background on our way up from Mount Baker's Heliotrope ridge trail head in 2012. It was an amazing experience.
